Sliding Cold Room Doors are mostly preferred in medium and large scale Cold Storages.
Sliding Doors are manufactured by injecting B1 FIRESAFE CLASS (DIN 4102 FIRESAFE)
certificated , CFC-Free polyurethane with a density of 42 kg / m3 at high pressure in between two epoxy painted metallic sheets which is 0,50mm thickness.
According to type of application, doors wing thickness can be variable thickness such as 8cm, 10cm, 12cm or 15cm. In order to prevent freezing of the seals of the minus degree storage doors, anti-freezing heat resistances are added.
Surface materials of Sliding Type Cold Storage Doors are manufactured as standard RAL 9002 painted Polyester coated Galvanized Steel. Depending on customer demand, surface material of the doors can be produced with polyester coated galvanized sheet; PVC coated galvanized sheet or Cr-Ni (AISI 304 stainless steel).
Doors are entrance points for cold rooms where hygiene is highly important. That’s why doors are manufacturing by using hygienic and antibacterial materials based on HACCP principles.
The biggest advantage of sliding doors is that they can be manufactured in large sizes, so the product shipments through the doors can be made easily by using a forklift or hand forklift. The most commonly used sliding door size is 150 cm x 220 cm. According to the customer's demand it is possible to produce starting from 90 cm x 190 cm to larger sizes.
Sliding doors can be used not only for only cold rooms but also for any application where heat insulation is highly important
Depending on customer demand or application areas door opening type can be manufactured as ‘open to left’ or ‘open to right’
Optionally doors can be equipped with a viewing window; this allows monitoring the products in the storage without opening the door.
